Who we are

About Sanctuary Trust

Sanctuary Trust works across three sites and can accommodate a total of 30 men.

We work with our residents to help them find employment, voluntary opportunities and eventually their own independent accommodation. Everything we do is to help the men regain their self-respect and dignity so they can once again become contributing members of society.

To help the men solve their own problems, achieve their goals and live independently, we work with a range of voluntary and government agencies, including:

  • Alcohol and Drugs
  • Mental Health services at La Chasse
  • Royal British Legion
  • Social Security
  • Silkworth Lodge
  • Citizen’s Advice
  • HMP La Moye
  • Health and Social Services
  • Probation Services
  • Grace Trust
  • Freedom for Life and other churches across the island which have supported the charity from its inception.

We are largely funded through donations and fundraising initiatives with every penny raised going to maintain the services provided. In addition to accommodation and support for our residents, we also provide an outreach service.
