In July 2025, Sanctuary Trust partnered with Jaro Gallery to host a special evening at the exhibition DOMESTIC BLISS – Happily Anxious and Holding It All Together, kindly sponsored by Savills. The event brought together artists, supporters of Sanctuary Trust and members of the community to raise awareness of homelessness in Jersey and highlight the work we do to support men in crisis.

Guests viewed powerful works from both international and local artists, including Opake, Nicholas Romeril, Gillian Linden, Max Corbett and Manuela Knaut. During the evening, Opake – who has collaborated with HRH Prince William on national homelessness advocacy – shared moving reflections on his lived experience of homelessness, offering deeper insight into the challenges faced by many.

We were honoured to welcome our Patron, His Excellency the Lieutenant Governor Sir Jerry Kyd KBE, who showed his continued support for Sanctuary Trust. The event was catered by Beresford Street Kitchen, with photography by Max Young.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to such a meaningful event.
