Almost 150 islanders joined us at Pier Road Car Park for this year’s Sleep Out, giving up their beds and sleeping outdoors for one night to raise awareness and vital funds to support men experiencing homelessness in Jersey. Thanks to the incredible kindness and generosity of everyone who took part, donated and provided support, the event has now raised nearly £45,000.

Participants listened to acoustic music from Vini Jones, including a song written especially for Sanctuary Trust, and were kept fuelled with hot soup and breakfast pastries from Beresford Street Kitchen. The atmosphere throughout the night reflected what makes this event so special: compassion, solidarity and a shared belief that no one in our island community should have to face homelessness alone.

We are deeply grateful to every individual and team who took part, donated or supported the event. Special thanks go to our event sponsor Skipton International, and to everyone who helped make the evening possible.
We were delighted to be joined by teams from HSBC, Channel Islands Co-operative, Government of Jersey, Viberts, Randalls, Andium Homes, Jersey RFC Women, The Mulcaster & 1823 Grill, Pathways, and many individuals and families who came together to show their support.

Funds raised will directly support our accommodation, tailored support, counselling and outreach services, helping men rebuild their lives with dignity, stability and hope.
Thank you to everyone who stood with us.
