We’re delighted to have been shortlisted for the SunWorks C.I. Ltd 2026 Solar Giveaway, sponsored by Benest Estates.
The competition offers one Jersey charity or community organisation the opportunity to win a solar installation worth up to £30,000. Public voting is now open and will run until the end of August.
How winning would help Sanctuary Trust
If successful, the solar installation would be fitted at one of our secondary houses Sanctuary Lodge, helping us generate clean, renewable energy, reduce our environmental impact, and lower ongoing electricity costs.
As a local charity providing accommodation and support to men experiencing or at risk of homelessness in Jersey, rising costs put increasing pressure on our resources. Reducing our energy bills would allow us to invest more in the services and support that make a difference every day.
Winning the Solar Giveaway would be a long-term investment in both the sustainability of our accommodation and our ability to continue helping residents build stability, independence and a brighter future.
