Sanctuary Trust, in partnership with Jasmine Noel at Jaro Gallery and kindly sponsored by Savills, hosted an exclusive evening at the art exhibition ‘DOMESTIC BLISS – Happily Anxious and Holding It All Together’ on Friday 4th July at Alexander House, St Brelade.
The evening brought together artists, clients and Sanctuary Trust supporters including organisations, donors and members of the community to raise awareness of homelessness and highlight the vital work Sanctuary Trust do to tackle homelessness and support men in crisis across Jersey.

Guests were treated to incredible works from both international and local artists, including Opake, Nicholas Romeril, Gillian Linden, Max Corbett, and Manuela Knaut. During the evening, Opake, who has worked with HRH Prince William on national homelessness advocacy, shared personal reflections on his lived experience of homelessness, providing powerful insights into the issue.
Sanctuary Trust was also honoured to welcome its patron, His Excellency Vice Admiral Sir Jerry Kyd KBE, Lieutenant Governor of Jersey, who showed his continued support for the charity’s mission.
Abby Harris-Peters, Fundraising and Communications Lead at Sanctuary Trust, said:
“This event was a wonderful opportunity to showcase inspiring art while raising awareness of the complex issues surrounding homelessness in Jersey. We are so grateful to our partners, sponsors, and supporters for making the evening such a success.”

The event was catered by Beresford Street Kitchen, with event photography by Max Young. Funds raised will directly support Sanctuary Trust’s mission to help men experiencing homelessness rebuild their lives with dignity and hope.
The art will be available to view over the summer at Jaro Gallery.
